A Bit About Me

My name is Erika Ocana and I am first and foremost a wife and a mom to two wonderful kids. I am a former elementary school teacher from Southern California with a degree in education from California State University, Long Beach. I was brought up in an entrepreneurial family of immigrant parents of whom I am immensely proud of and grateful for.

Fairy Cottage sprang up like a spring flower in the middle of winter. Established in January 2021 during COVID-19 uncertainty, Fairy Cottage has been a project of hope from the heart of a mom. Being able to work from home, and have a creative outlet was essential for me.

Fairy Cottage opened it's online doors with a small selection of  personalizable baby gifts/keepsakes, and a small selection of handmade items made by yours truly. In just over a year, Fairy Cottage has grown to have a significant amount of new products and services .

Follow my journey as I continue to grow my little business from home by following Fairy Cottage on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube @fairycottageembroidery.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope to see you around.
